WHAT TO EXPECT
At Total Motion Physical Therapy, your care begins with a personal one-on-one preliminary health and lifestyle assessment with a licensed physical therapist in order to create a comprehensive treatment program.
A physical examination will also be conducted to assess range of motion, pain levels, strength, and your ability to perform functional tasks. We will also provide you with detailed strengthening and stretching techniques to continue at home as well in order to expedite your recovery.
Through the use of our state-of-the-art equipment, we will choose from a broad array of physical therapy interventions that enhance your physical and functional status, ultimately improving your quality of life as it relates to your movement and health. These interventions may include, but are not limited to, medical exercise training, manual therapy techniques, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, assistive device training, physical agents, and massage. Your treatment program will also incorporate the latest research and scientific principles.
However, keep in mind that in order for our partnership to be successful, we will need to work together While our professionals develop your individual treatment program, you too must be willing to participate as well! We will be with you every step of the way to keep you excited and motivated to overcome your challenges.
Our professional team is committed to patient education that promotes the benefits of exercise, proper body mechanics, and postural awareness to relieve your symptoms, stabilize your condition, and prevent loss of mobility in the future, and we want to ensure that we put total motion back into your life.
